Welcome to the website for Null Models in Ecology!

This website is dedicated to providing software to assist with analyzing co-occurrence data in ecology. In particular, the focus is on defining the null model against which the data can be appropriately examined.

This project evolved as a series of conversations and research projects between founders Sadie J. Ryan and Josh Ladau, with support from both NCEAS and the Santa Fe Institute

At present, these software run under Windows, as they are Visual Basic programs. We would love to have someone make these platform independent. If you are a keen programmer, someone who is overly fantastic with R, or so frustrated with us that you want to write this for a Mac too, please contact us.
