What is FixIt?
FixIt is a user-friendly program for implementing null model tests that use unbiased simulation algorithms (Miklos & Podani 2004). Use of this algorithm can reduce the false positive and false negative rate of these tests, and ensure that you draw accurate inferences from your ecological data (Ladau 2008). FixIt also computes diagnostics of tests to allow you to confirm the error rates of your tests.
Obtaining FixIt
FixIt is free for download. It runs on the Windows operating system, and the entire download is less than 1.5Mb.
Using FixIt
FixIt requires no installation -- simply unzip the downloaded file and click the FixIt icon to run. FixIt comes with extensive help files, including a tutorial. Click Help on your copy of FixIt to begin accessing these features.
